Spite House

Spite House is a Montreal-based post-hardcore band blending emotionally charged songwriting with the urgency and melody of ’90s post-hardcore and emo.

Formed in 2019, the band gained early attention with their self-titled debut on New Morality Zine, which led to extensive touring across Canada, the United States, and Europe. Known for intense and cathartic live performances, Spite House has toured with acts such as Single Mothers and The Dirty Nil, and shared stages with artists including Fiddlehead, Angel Du$t, Glitterer, Militarie Gun, and Scowl. The band has also appeared at festivals such as Outbreak Fest (UK) and Ieperfest (BE).

In 2025, Spite House signed to Pure Noise Records to release their sophomore album Desertion, which received strong critical attention and was named among Brooklyn Vegan’s Top 50 Punk Albums of the Year. In 2026, the band will return to Europe supporting Militarie Gun and tour the U.S. West Coast in support of Slow Crush.
