RANGES
7th May 2024 - 7:00 pm

US post-rock masterminds RANGES will be gracing the shores of the UK in 2024 for three shows celebrating the release of their latest album, the magnificent ’33’. As with their past work, ’33’ is not simply a record, but an opulent multimedia feast, with the enrapturing highs and lows of their instrumental masterwork accompanied by a suite of expertly crafted visual media, from sumptuously intricate and evocative artwork through to stunning video compositions (and much more if you mine the depths of their impressive deluxe offerings!). With such extraordinary dedication to their craft, there can be no better way to experience RANGES than to bear witness to their immense auditory assault in person.

Support comes from RANGES labelmates and now-mainstay of the UK post-rock scene, Din of Celestial Birds. After wowing crowds at last year’s ArcTanGent Festival and Damnation’s Night of Salvation, Din of Celestial Birds are sure to impress with their awe-inspiringly emotional live show. With last year’s LP The Night is for Dreamers featuring on countless Album-of-the-Year lists, and Damnation Festival calling them ‘one of the UK’s finest rising post-rock talents’, it’s safe to say the ‘birbs‘ (as they are affectionately known) will provide a perfect warmup for the night’s headliners.

Completing the lineup are fast-rising Welsh post-rockers FORT. Described as ‘exquisite noise’ by BBC Radio Wales, this band of seasoned instrumentalists are not to be missed. With influences including the likes of sleepmakeswaves, Caspian, and And So I Watch You From Afar, FORT provide an exquisite complement to an already impressive bill.
