Hailing from the lush landscapes of County Armagh, Northern Ireland, Odhran

Murphy’s music is steeped in the spirit of his homeland. With 25 years spent soaking

in the region’s natural beauty, rich culture, and tight-knit local music scene, his

artistry is a reflection of the place that raised him. Dosed in this local culture, his

infatuation with music sprung as early as Primary School.

A true multi-instrumentalist, Odhran’s journey began when his mother taught him

four chords on guitar. Fueled by the rise of artists like Ed Sheeran, he dove headfirst

into songwriting and performance, later picking up piano and banjo along the way –

all learned by ear, never by sheet music. His approach is instinctive, raw, and

emotionally driven. Music followed Odhran as a child during his primary school days,

nervously stepping on stage at spring concerts. While those early performances

might have been rough around the edges, they sparked a lifelong love of being in

front of an audience. Encouraged by a family steeped in live music, his parents and

grandfather gigging on weekends, Odhran often snuck into bars just to catch a

glimpse of them playing.

Sharing his own material, now, for just under 3 years, it was one track in particular

that sparked his vast trajectory. A year after his debut release, “Limitless Love” rose

through TikTok’s algorithm and quickly went viral. Now sitting at 7.5 million streams

on Spotify alone & with over 500k monthly listeners, Odhran Murphy has gained an

ever-growing fanbase who are eagerly awaiting for the release of his debut EP . Now

signed to 10K Projects, home to hit-makers Ice Spice, Trippie Redd, Aminé, Artemas

and many more, Odhran has crafted his own lane within Country-Folk that he

describes as “very uplifting, energetic, fun, and great for a road trip”. Hoping to bring

this happiness, encouragement, and love to his fan-base.
