Novustory
6th April 2023 - 7:00 pm
The Deaf Institute

Alt-rock four piece, Novustory can usually be found tucked away in their own custom-built studio in Blackburn, merging together elements of all your favourite styles of music.
Think both modern and classic rock; alt-rock; the slightest hint of metal and a touch of pop, and you’ll be about there. For fans of Biffy Clyro, Paramore, Nothing But Thieves and Royal Blood, Novustory’s sound is familiar but unique.

Having recently signed to London-based label Regent Street Records and Cross Talk Management, Novustory have managed to widen their reach and look set to continue that over the next 12 months.
Endorsed by sE Electronics, Balbex Drumsticks, Read Audio, Amedia Cymbals, LowLifeLeague Clothing, Vocalzone and dR Drums UK, Novustory have received wide acclaim from Virgin Radio and fashion magazine GLAMOUR, resulting in being asked to record sessions for both. They’ve taken themselves on 3 European tours over the past 3 years, gigging in Amsterdam, Belgium, Italy and France, and have camped and busked their way through each country.

The band have been featured twice on BBC news and have been shared by the likes of Comedian Jack Whitehall. Their list of global features is growing, with the most recent opportunity including Benumu asking them to record a video on behalf of Jagermeister, followed by a week long feature on the main carousel on the official BT TV. They’ve also just worked with producer Adam ‘Cecil’ Bartlett (Biffy Clyro/ U2) with vocal assistance from Stevie Lange (Nothign But Thieves/Rita Ora) on their latest track ‘Love Me Too’. The music video for which features comedy star Tez Ilyas (Mock The Week, Netflix’s Man Like Mobeen)
