Gia Ford is not a band, but an English singer-songwriter known for her dark alt-pop music and introspective lyrics about themes like alienation and obsession. Hailing from Sheffield, Ford’s style initially featured 808s and electronic sounds, but evolved to include a timeless Americana and classic rock influence after she went independent from her first label, Dirty Hit. Her latest album, Transparent Things (2024), explores the complex lives of outsiders and the human condition through narrative-driven songs and a distinctive, filmic sound.
