Fright Years have announced a run of live dates for early 2027, opening with a special
one-off performance at Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre on 6 February.
The Edinburgh based band will then head to Dundee for the first time, before crossing
the border for their biggest English headline shows yet, with dates at Nottingham’s
Bodega, London’s Oslo and Manchester’s Deaf Institute.
The dates follow the release of the band’s yet to be titled new EP, out in February 2027
via LAB records.
The Edinburgh Traverse show offers fans something truly one-off: a loud, unapologetic
rock show in a theatre setting – something truly special for the people who’ve followed
them so far. In England, the band’s London date at Oslo will be their biggest headline
show yet, and their first London headline show since February 2026.Harrison MacLeod-Bonnar said: ‘We wanted to do something different for our next
hometown show in Edinburgh, and the Traverse Theatre felt like the perfect place to
launch these new songs. We love the idea of playing a full-scale show within the
grandeur of a theatre, we think it’ll be a truly one of a kind Fright Years show.
We know a lot of people from around Scotland have to travel into Glasgow or Edinburgh
to come see us, so we’re excited to be playing in new cities like Dundee and Inverness
for the first time.
We can’t wait to follow this up with the biggest venues we’ve ever played in London,
Nottingham and Manchester in March. Having played all these venues before as a
support act we can’t get to go back with our own show in the spring. ’
