Delving into the emotional complexities of WLW relationships, unrequited love, queer joy, and

everything in between, rising alt-pop artist Déyyess’ music has resonated far and wide. Her new EP

Would You Go Down On A Girl, is both hopelessly romantic and quietly devastating, set against a

backdrop of shimmering alt-pop, shoegaze, and grungy textures, which draw inspiration from The

Cocteau Twins, The Cranberries, and queer icons like Chappell Roan and Clairo. Growing up in

sleepy Canterbury, Déyyess became aware of her queer identity early on, finding the courage to

come out through Lady Gaga’s fearless allyship. Since then, Déyyess’ career has seen her support

Alessi Rose across the UK and EU, perform her first festival slots at BST Hyde Park (supporting Olivia

Rodrigo) and Reading & Leeds, and now, she’s gearing up for her debut UK & EU headline tour. In

2025, as queer representation in pop reaches new heights, led by artists like Doechii, Renée Rapp,

Kehlani, Girl in Red and more – and with an EP entitled Would You Go Down On A Girl?, Déyyess

proudly joins their ranks.
