Rich in sound and energy, Danny Mellin has always wanted to make rock and roll for the not-so-serious. From growing up listening to the classic bands of his dad’s vinyl collection, the buzz of songwriting and playing live quickly became Danny’s passion. By age 10, he was playing in bands with his school mates and writing original music beyond his years.

Fast forward 11 years and Danny is only going from strength to strength. Over the past four years, Danny has teamed together with his best mates from their tiny village of West Oxfordshire and together they take on the world, playing to sold out audiences wherever they go. 2023 was a whirlwind of a year for Danny, including two sold out UK headline tours as well as supporting established indie acts such as Sundara Karma. Danny also played his first European show in November when he supported The Sherlocks in Paris.

This new year sees Danny not slowing down anytime soon. His new EP ‘Where Did The Time Go?’ released in February to great acclaim critically and commercially, with his songs about hometown relatability resonating with his fans. In June, Danny is embarking on his next UK headline tour, the final show being in his hometown of Oxford on June 21st at the O2 Acadmy2, his biggest headline show to date. This alongside more releases and headline tours to follow in the year highlights the unstoppable energy Danny Mellin is bringing to the indie rock scene, and he’s only getting started.
