About Us

ABOUT US

Welcome to The Deaf Institute – your ultimate destination for an unforgettable night of excitement and live music magic! Get ready to experience a thrilling adventure across three fantastic floors, complete with three vibrant bars and not one, but two outdoor terraces nestled at the rear.

Step inside our historical gem, a building with a rich past dating back to 1878 when it was originally known as The Deaf Institute. After years of slumber, we breathed new life into this iconic space over a decade ago, reimagining it to embrace its storied heritage. You’ll find us conveniently tucked away near the bustling Oxford Road, right at the heart of the vibrant Manchester Metropolitan University Campus.

Venture within to discover our three distinct havens: The Music Hall, The Lodge, and The Den – each a world of its own. Ascend to The Music Hall on the first floor, a captivating expanse where you’ll witness electrifying live performances and dance the night away beneath the mesmerising sway of a colossal mirror ball. For a more intimate encounter, step into The Lodge, an inviting space where you’ll be up close and personal with the talented artists gracing its stage. Seeking an exclusive hideaway? Look no further than The Den – an ideal setting for private celebrations, networking affairs, or indulging in the most exhilarating club nights.

Seriously, everything you need for an epic night out is right here at The Deaf Institute.
