7PM-11PM : SOLD OUT (14+)

Singer/songwriter Nina Nesbitt was only 16 years old when she emerged on the British music scene thanks to a handful of beautifully conceived cover versions made available on her YouTube page. Half Swedish, half Scottish and endowed with a voice boasting technical agility and a searching passion that cut straight to the emotional core of her chosen material, through word of mouth Nina quickly began to garner a passionate following.

It was at an intimate Ed Sheeran gig in Edinburgh however where everything turned upside down when Sheeran, having heard of her talent asked her to play him a song. Soon after Example, saw Nina’s unique version of his song ‘Stay Awake’, was instantly impressed and ended up tweeting her channel to his large number of followers. Sheeran then asked Nina to support him at his Glasgow show (she also joined him onstage to sing a duet at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire), and Nina enjoyed further supports to Example on his December tour. Suddenly Nina's YouTube views were rising from 10,000 to 500,000.

Since then Nina self-released the ‘Live Take’ EP (a first glimpse for many, of Nina's own song craft), been seen in a small cameo in Sheeran’s Drunk video, announced her first headline tour, performed sessions for BBC Introducing and received her first Radio 1 play as well as signing a publishing deal and touring Europe with Mr Sheeran.

Coming up next for Nina is her 2nd release, the ‘Apple Tree EP’, it will drop on May 7th to coincide with Arena supports with Example, sell out headline shows in London, Manchester and Edinburgh, and various summer festivals. For this 17 year old, who only last year was finishing off her school education, it seems the sky really is the limit.
