FRIDAY 18 AUGUST

REFORM RADIO SUMMER SHINDIG

KAMMA & MASALO, MAD MATS & FREDDIE CRUGER, BETTER DAYS, GHETTO CHILD + MORE

10PM -3AM: £5/£7/MOTD

It’s summertime and the living is easy… so we thought it’s the perfect time for a little Reform Radio get together; hosted in conjunction with two of our long standing shows - Better Days and Ghetto Child. We’re taking over The Deaf Institute and bringing along some special European guests and a selection of our own excellent Reform Radio DJ’s to soundtrack the party over two floors!

From Amsterdam we’ve got Kamma and Masalo - two rising stars who bring energy to the dance floor with an eclectic mix of disco, soulful house, deep house, jazz-funk etc. and run their own party in Amsterdam - Brighter Days. They’ve had names such as Mike Dunn, Ge-Ology and Jamie 3:26 grace their party so you know you’re in good hands with these two.

Repping Scandanavia we’ve got Mad Mats and Freddie Cruger playing a special B2B too heading all the way from Stockholm. Mad Mats is founder of labels, Local Talk, Gamm and Basic Fingers which are 3 of the absolute must go to labels for any self respecting house/disco DJ of the last 15 years! Freddie Cruger AKA Red Astaire has had some hot, hot releases for those who know and it’s been a while since he came to Manchester so this is gonna be a very special B2B session indeed!

Rounding off the main room lineup are Chris E of Better Days and Darryl Marsden of Ghetto Child plus in the bar we've got some of the hottest Reform DJ's coming through for you.

We’ve also got local beer heroes Shindigger involved too - they’re gonna be having their new range of summer cans gracing the fridges and will have some sweet deals on these too exclusively on the night!

Expect a tasteful mix of soul, disco, jazz, funk, house, boogie and other curveballs for your ears folks - mid summer madness incoming…
